Frank Zappa guitariste c'est toute la différence entre un créateur musical chaleureux qui crée de la musique instantanément via son instrument et de froids guitaristes virtuoses incapables d'improviser. Le son de sa guitare est tranchant comme une lame de rasoir.

Archi .Gorski oui c'est mon avis aussi, je trouve toujours bien plus intéressant un compositeur guitariste qu'un guitariste tout court. Hendrix, Prince etc. Frank Zappa à l'art de balancer une violente décharge de guitare électrique tout en étant mélodieux et inspiré.

FZ's guitar playing in the early 80s was at times astonishing. I think this was the period which Sexual Harassment in the Workplace was formed in all its sublime glory.

wow. great sound quality. I wasnt aware that he performed HDJ earlier than 88 tour. when you think you got it all, fz always surprises you... tour 80 isnt my favourite zappa band live sound, but where can I get full gig?

Not enough attention is paid to this period of Frank’s modal music. It’s not “psychedelic”; I’m almost sure Zappa was listening to Coltrane’s later period just before he died. Spiritual? Maybe, if you could count Frank’s sense of the universality and individuality of being as spiritual.
