There are thousands of us worldwide still going through SB Cohen's oldies, laughing to tears like we never saw them. The man is an absolute genius, perhaps greatest of them all in the world of "serious comedy". I can hardly imagine anyone going above levels he set.

I hear you. So many people don't know about all the Borat, Bruno and Ali G sketches before the movies were made. Ali G Show Season 1 & 2 are the best sketch comedy of all time! The only thing that compares for me is Chapelle Show.

@@Gyrbae true enough Andy was a genius,, and I don't concurr that brit comedy as has been mentioned in this section of comments (not by you) is wayyy better than USA comedy,, I've seen the finest comedy /parody in MASH 4077th, I've seen the borat in Cheers,, Boston,, the lovable Sam,,, and frasier,, I've seen Robin Williams on Saturday night live,, I could go on and on,, America has some truly great comics and I've not even mentioned female ones like Joan rivers,, some are passed now,, but they live on forever thanks to storage systems that are fantastic for this purpose ❤️👍

Da Ali G show is what got Sacha's career going. He would slowly introduce skits with characters such as Bruno and Borat.. but when he'd refer to them, Ali G spoke as if they were different people. like, "now we are going to Bruno, who is live at the Milan fashion show"

If I recall correctly he played 3 charactors to start. Ali G, Bruno, and Borat. When he started it was small 5 min segments on a UK late night show. Then he got a 30min show on something like BBC5. Then he did Ali G the movie. That was parlee'd into the Ali G show on HBO. Then Borat, Bruno and all the others.
