It's been said many times last year online. Hoping he can break through past the level he's at cuz he's like a joke machine. I've seen him multiple times in a room full of other comics and clearly be the funniest guy in the room always looking for a funny joke to tell... while everyone else is just talking rambling about whatever like their chit chat is so interesting. Yeah I'm talking about how Rogan has a bunch of comics on all at once...if Mark is in there he's the only constantly thinking of a joke to tell in-between the other "comics" talking like they are philosophers 😂

@@tone6892 I can't argue against that. The episodes are very hit and miss. I have seen some bangers. But, significantly more misses. That is why the regulars exist. I know it isn't for everyone.

Also aligns with the census so the total number of Nigerians that have moved to the US is probably less than 500k, which would be 20x less than the number of people enslaved in the US. And some context, the 4 million enslaved people alive at the start of civil war comprised 13% of the US population. The % of Nigerians in the US is 0.1%. That is a ratio ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY to 1 LOL This makes his "fact" even more stupid.

When I heard Norman spout that "fact," I immediately thought it sounded fishy. Thanks for pulling up the info and sharing it. I know most people will say it's just jokes and not to take it so seriously, but facts do matter. You can be funny and accurate.

@@JDPower-ej3rx I agree. It sounded ridiculous so I couldn't help but look it up. The thing is he was not trying to be funny there; rather he was trying to profound. And aside from the fact that it is generally better to know the truth and be accurate, being inaccurate can also be quite damaging.
