Intelligent women won't get offended by BB's comedy - they will appreciate the mix of common sense and no bs to your face skits that anyone with half a brain can understand. It doesn't mean it's all true or that he doesn't appreciate women (that's absurd ofc). As a father and ex-soldier - I can say that parenting is extremely challenging and mothers have the harder job (as a general rule) - but you also have the comfort of your home and the joyous moments with your kids. As a soldier you get none of that. You risk your life, walk endless miles with heavy equipment, eat dust and you have to cope with countless emotional, environmental and physical hardships. Your only reward is knowing you are doing all that to protect your country and its population.

I think the difference here is its now comedy but back in the 50s it was viewed as fact. Men would just say stuff like this openly like it was normal and probably much worse. My late grandfather genuinely thought women were less intelligent, never should go to college and only were good for their traditional role of housekeeper, mother and wife lol. Bill's feminism comedy if it aired in the 50s would probably not be as funny cause most of the guys would think it needs to go further its too tame.
