I love 80’s music. I don’t care what music “purists” say about the era. I love it; always will & this song is in the top 5 of favorites during my fabulous 20’s…which was the entire eighth decade of the 20th century.

A real song by a real band. No computer generated tracks or auto tune over processed vocals. This was the end of a real era where you couldn't fake the music, you were real or you were out. I sing this song in my band and I always get positive comments from people who loved it then and now. But I will admit to do it justice I have taken it down a couple of keys from Dm to Bm. It sucks to get old but I'm still giving it my all.

What has happened to male singers like this one? Back in the day we had Steve Perry, Sammy Hagar, John Parr, Lou Graham, Mickie Thomas, and so many others that could just belt it out and had these strong, masculine voices. Today all we have is that shrieky-voiced Adam Levine. Same goes for the female singers. You could tell them all apart back then.
