We were there last night to see Frankie Valli in his last New York city concert. It was a privilege to relive our youth together in the 60's, and to listen to Frankie sing a full compliment of 27 songs from his outstanding career with the Four Seasons, and as a solo artist. Who, at the age of almost 90, could perform as well as Frankie Valli did last night? The answer is simple: No one. Thank you . Frankie Valli for making our night last night. The respect that your audience of 6000+ at the sold out Radio City Music Hall demonstrated to you , shows you just what you mean to all of us.

I met Frankie Valley back in the late 70's. He was performing at what was called the Civic Center in Providence, RI. My brother was working there and we got in before the show. My brother brought me to the stage where they were practicing and introduce my Wife and I to him. He spoke to us and gave my Wife his Autograph and asked if she wanted the rest of the groups Autograph and everyone in the group signed her book. What a great guy. One other time he was being interviewed by WPRO radio in Providence. I knew what door they would exit. I drove up to the limo and he rolled down his window said hello and gave my wife his autograph again.

Thank you thank you for posting this great concert of my all time favorite band, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. A legend Valli is, with over 60 Billboard Chart records, yes over 60. I am a second generation fan who has had the pleasure of meeting Valli and enjoying his concert performances since 1978.

Thank you for uploading this awesome concert. I'm from New Jersey and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons are my all-time favorite musical group. It's so wonderful that Frankie continues to perform these concerts and share this wonderful music with his fans. Always a fan. He is a living legend and a musical icon. I hope we have him around for many more years. Finally, any lip sync trolls who reply to me, their comments will be deleted. Frankie deserves respect and love and that's what his real fans give him while the negative trolls try to tear him down. Attacking a 90-year-old music legend is disgusting, classless, and tasteless. Those people in the comments section should be ashamed of themselves.

To be fair that song was added into the setlist very recently and they hadn't played it in years before that. He's 89 so it isn't shocking if he forgets words sometimes.
@tomcole80582 ай бұрын
I'm thinking more of the fans who paid good money to see the concert, only to find the whole thing is a lip sync with barely any mouth movement and completely missing words. I understand he is 89 but I don't think that's an excuse to lip sync; if you can't sing the songs you should hang it up. Or at least add a disclaimer.
@mikemacjunkie121 күн бұрын
@@tomcole8058he’s been lip-syncing since at least 2004. The playbacks he’s using are a mix from then to some newer recorded ones. Over the years some of the arrangements have changed enough that’s he’s recorded new parts. So be it. He’s a living legend and I’ve gone to see him any time I can despite it being playback. He won’t be here forever. Let’s enjoy him while he’s still here. He’s part of some of the best songs ever recorded.
@tomcole805821 күн бұрын
@@mikemacjunkie1 I understand, however a lot of people who may not be that well off financially are spending their hard earned cash to see a man perform live who doesn't sing a single note, can't help but feel like he is ripping them off. Frankie shows aren't cheap either. I think if an artist lip syncs they should have some sort of disclaimer. Especially artists who lip sync at the level Frankie does, I don't know of any other artist who literally doesn't sing a single note on stage. If that disclaimer was there then I can guarantee the audiences would be an awful lot smaller.

@ClodhoppingАй бұрын
Sadly not. He's been lip synching for years. The mic has an on/off switch to allow him to chat in between verses or songs. It's a digitally enhanced performance track that he lip syncs to. Occasionally he's forgotten to switch the mic off and his real voice is heard and it sounds dreadful. 😂
