The ending of the movie "All of us strangers" really knocked me out. I cried, then sat for a long time in my chair while people left the theatre. I just got home from Watching the movie. All of us Strangers... The final scene was Heartbreaking... And this song.. The Power of Love... Was just so beautiful...I cried All the way home. Wow the whole movie and song together.. A MASTERPEICE. ❤❤❤❤❤thankyou you awsome people. Xxxx
A long long time ago, I danced to this song with a friend from school. It was our first dance together. Then we went our separate ways, married, had familires. And having been apart for 20 years, we've been back together for 17 years, and this is still our special song. And what a song it is. The power of love...

I loved this song anyway but recently the amazing Brian ‘Nasher’ Nash brought me here even more so. I always loved Frankie Goes to Hollywood but we were extremely very lucky to have Brian perform my beloved mum’s funeral ceremony at Thornton Crematorium near Crosby in Liverpool ❤❤ It was an emotional and heartbreaking day for us but I couldn’t have thought of anything more beautiful and perfect for my mum’s send off. I was her only girl and youngest and when I was born in 84 Relax was number 1 in the charts. Brian did a fantastic job, I couldn’t of asked for anything more special ❤❤

My Mom left a poem, to think of her when we look at the tree’s blowing in the wind, see the beauty in a delicate flower , feel the energy from the moon and stars in the night sky . I love her more than any expression, deeper than any words . But the Power of Love is the force that made my Mom my life and the light in my eyes ❤

This song is the most significant, beautiful and precious legacy of all the 80s and at the same time one of the highest peaks that music has reached in describing love and passion. I listen mostly to hard rock and classical, but I have to say that in 2021 this song is still literally on another level. I don't know which angel could have whispered such a poem to a mortal man.

how, how did humanity change so much in so few years? this is such beautiful expression, I have no words, only, this is awe-inspiring, pop music had the capacity to teach us about ourselves, only a few decades ago, and look what we have now. tears, bitter tears.

I am in the US where this song is not well known. While I was familiar with FGTH 's other hits, I had not heard this one till a few days before Christmas 2022, while listening to a UK Christmas music program. I was just stunned with the vocals, lyrics and powerful meaning of the song!!! As we are nearing Easter 2023, I am STILL listening to "The Power Of Love" and it still has the same gripping effect on me as when I first heard it. MAKE LOVE YOUR GOAL!!! 💗

Glad you love this song.... It's my all time favourite Christmas song. Brings tears to my eyes 🥲 and gives me goosebumps. Funny you mentioned being an American, never heard of it... Being Dutch we have lots of foreign hits in our chart: Italian, Spanish, German, English et cetera.... When I was in the USA for the first time, an American friend drove me around. When I sung „Country road, take me home...." from John Denver, she looked at me suprised and asked „Do you know this song?" Yes ofcourse!? We follow the American music industry too 😅

US here, I've loved this song since the 80's. It's not well known, but it did have a pretty sporty run on MTV, back when they played videos. It's stunning.

@@Haroekoe The song never made the Billboard Hot 100 (US main music chart) which was odd given FGTH's MTV airplay. I had heard of the title but never heard the song back then.

@@janpcs beauty is in the eye of the beholder. During Christmas Imagine of John Lennon is more often played, also Driving Home For Christmas of Chris Rea. I see the Power of Love as a Christmas message therefore a Christmas song. On top of that, the videoclip shows the Christmas story. On the other hand, I was raised by a religious mother, I was baptised, but I am far from religious myself. But „Make Love Your Goal" is something that suits every day, every religion

Watched All of Us Strangers last night, it resonated with me on multiple levels. The portrayal of societal homophobia in the flashbacks, though painful to watch, mirrored my own experiences growing up in a time when being gay was considered wrong. 😭😭

I am so glad I am not the only one who tears up! Both the movie and the song are haunting. AOUS is adapted from a Japanese ghost story, but its beauty lingers in a different way than a traditional ghost story. What viewers hold on to is the beauty of hope and love. We are all fleeting stars, so choose love and hope in this life time. My favorite movie of 2023 and one of the best movie endings of all time.
