you notice there's a big deficit in creative power today? I mean where's the new bands and art? It's being swindled from kids by media. Phones PCs video games are taking the place of imagination development. Don't get me wrong I love tech but kids on it constantly is like a diet of nothing but McDonalds it's junk food for the brain. The biggest advantage we old farts have over the youth is we remember before the internet. I don't know why parents let their kids have smart phones man give them a watch and a pager or cell that's not a small computer screen. Make them stay off and find something else to do. Don't know if you got kids or not but your about that age and if you want to creativity in the future set a trend to keep kids off media for good blocks of time so they develop their real world minds.

I was 7 when this movie came out. That Summer in 1978 my mom took me and my sisters to this movie every week from June till August. The movie was actually at the drive-in as well which was right next door to the movie theater. We saw the movie at the drive-in 2 more times which brings me to my point. I didn't understand anything going on in the movie as a 7 year old but I loved the music. We saw this movie 7 different times in 1978. This song always floods my mind with the wonderful memories from the Summer of 78.

What is crazy as well is that the people who experienced the 1960s and 1970s are growing older and older. I love this music so much and it feels sad as if something has been lost in our time. This time period of cells phones, and just all this crap, doesn't feel as happy as those days. Maybe its not that different. Music and activists. I don't know. I was a child of the 1990s but grew up with all of this music. Every aunt I had shared there big pile of tapes and cds with me and were at odds about their music tastes. One of my aunts didn't seem much into music, but my mom played guitar and my older aunt loved disco and so many other genres. Now I am in my late 30s and no one around me seems to apprecate older music or should I say good music, except my son. So I hope that peope continue to share and bring back the good feeling that the old days brought us.

The best hair in the business. I was born in 1967. And the year Grease came out in the theater. I dressed like Frankie for Halloween. I had long straight hair. But I remember my Mom had a bunch of cream colored satin fabric. And she sawed me a suit. The fabric was purchased for a different project that never ended up happening. So the lady she was sawing for told her she could have it for whatever she wanted to do with it. So Mom took an old brown suit my brother outgrew and I tried it on and it kinda fit me. It was a little big on me but that worked. She actually sawed the satin snugly on to the brown suit. And she did a good job on it and you couldn’t tell she sawed them together. And then she did the same to the jacket. If she hadn’t it would’ve been to sheer and you could see through it. And then she made me a loose top to wear under the jacket. And she bought a brown short wig from the costume shop. And she wet it down then rolled the wig with rollers. And she took a pair of nylon knee highs and she braided my hair then pinned up the braids then stretched it the knee high over my head to make a skullcap. Then the wig. She even bought a fake super shiny gold medallion on a chain. And she took a pair of old Ked sneakers and glued some of the satin on to them. I looked as close to being “Grease” Frankie Valli as a 10 year old girl could get. Every single person thought I was dressed as John Travolta from Saturday Night Fever. But that was ok. Lol

@@danyoutube7491 She ended up passing away the next summer. So that satin leisure suit was a truly treasured item. It felt amazing to have the last thing she had sawed. She hadn’t told us she had cancer because she didn’t want us to worry about her. She told us New Year’s Day. That she had cancer. And she started prepping us for her being gone. Making copies of all her recipes and dividing up jewelry for each of us kids and splitting up her anniversary ring and her engagement ring and her wedding ring settings into earrings and a necklace for each of us kids. Earrings for my sisters and I and necklaces for my brothers to give their future wives. And she tagged each of the items she wanted each of us to have. And then they decided that when my little sister was 18 that Dad would sell the house and move into a retirement community. And then he divided up the profit and gave it to us kids.
