I grew up in east Long Beach and had my first apartment off Central and 103rd in Watts(a few blocks from the towers represented in GTA: SA).The first time playing SA as a 16yr old was crazy. seeing the neighborhood outside my home in a video game. It's pretty insane how realistic and authentic to the real thing that the designers got in San Andreas and especially GTA 5. They took South Central LA, Compton, Inglewood, Watts, Long Beach, and Wilmington and mashed it all together, and thats what the hoods look like in the games.

11:18 is Crenshaw and Rodeo. That's how it used to look 14 years ago while GTAV was still in development. Funny how they can actually identify certain hoods, including the jungles whee I currently stay at. My own apartment complex and the park they mentioned (Jim Jilliam) is also in the game.

If you go to the Griffith Observatory the Hollywood sign (or "vinewood" sign) is on the wrong side. Also the area at the bottom of the US Bank tower is messed up and they didn't put the library across the street.

TG Slink Johnson: to the right here we have a Drug Deal including an Undercover Agent watching from the Street Corner. TG Solo: at the same time to the Left we have a Gang Shootout with a few Gang Members laying around bleeding out of Tec-9 gunshotwounds.
