Franklin, Tennessee is the 7th largest city in Tennessee and is 21 miles south of Nashville, Tennessee - Music City. Franklin has an population a little less than 84,000 (2020) and is one of the principal cities in the Nashville metropolitan area. Franklin is developed on both sides of the Harpeth River which is a tributary of the Cumberland River.
