For those who say it's sexist: this is a song about the attitudes of boys and girls in relationships. In the first half of the song, Alex is singing in the perspective of a guy who sees women as objects and thinks that women should just go out with him. Then in the verse that starts "Sometimes I say stupid things" it is the guy realising that he is wrong and that he should consider how the girl feels. Then the final chorus which changes to "no you boys" is showing how the attitudes of boys in a relationship needs to change. Listen to the lyrics and it is pretty simple.

I was on their concert and I have to admit that they're great, but much much better live. They have this energy, which is impossible to be in the studio version. And Alex... I love the way he moves on stage!

Wow, I listened to Franz Ferdinand a lot when I was younger (especially Eleanor Put Your Boots On), but I just rediscovered them when I was watching Tyger Drew-Honey's new documentary the other day, and this was in it. :)
