Fraser Island/K'gari part 1
This episode on our Fraser Island mini series, we take our BIG rig to the biggest sand island in the world Fraser Island.
BUT before hitting the island we have to tackle the infamously soft sands of Inskip Point, taking our Ram 1500 and 22ft @yondercaravans7692 over to catch the Barge.... Do we make it or do we get bogged?
Then we drive about 1.5 hrs to Cathedrals campground before heading to the stunning Eli Creek for a swim. We visit the Maheno shipwreck on the way back to camp.

No worries mate, it's really not that bad with a van, just take your time, correct tyre pressures and drive to conditions you'll be sweet. Was awesome having everything there with us

Good on Daniel i didnt take my over braver than me. Frazer was fabulous, you get that rig around to west coast no worries just watch the tides we got stuck till next tid

Yeh mate, I paid by card, they have a card reader in the wheelhouse or pay cash to the decky as he walks around

Thanks as ever. Please say how many kilometers the Ram has done in total and how many for the trip since you left home and (if you have it) what has been the average fuel consumption on the trip. So far it seems very reliable.

Cheers mate,and as ever appreciate the support. We have been trying to film more of the car and van for you, so see if you notice in future episodes 😉. Ram has approx 122000kms total Approx 23000kms for the trip. Dash says 23.8l/100kms bt has been up to 30ish in Tasmania. Really can't fault it, hasn't missed a beat and couldn't be happier with it👌
