The last time I was able to go to Fratton Park couldn't sit in seat spoke to staff and they let me sit in the old corner section great staff great ground and the best football team in the land PUP

Away fans should have been on the south side of the Milton End. Naturally segregated from the South Stand and the NT could then sweep into the Milton with ‘minimal seat kill’.

No they shouldn't, it is better atmosphere when they are on North Stand with the banter. If you look at Milton end, it has been expanded, it now overlooks the South stand, if you had away fans overlooking the family stand it would not not be good for obvious reasons.

Andrew Cullen stated that although they wanted this, it was impractical as the family section is next to the Milton End on the south stand and the disabled away supporters have access to the lift and the control room is right next to away fans. Suffice to say, they explored the merits of all options but settled on this formation. Watch his Q&a from a few weeks ago for a fuller explanation.

That would be nice but sadly I don't think Pompey would get planning permission for a two tier Milton End for a couple of reasons - 1. Objections from householders nearby at loss of light, and 2. It would require a cantilevered stand and because there has been some past contamination at that site, builders are prohibited from drilling too deeply into the surface.

I thought that the owner bought some of the houses. Never mind. The two tear North stand will bring up the capacity. And Maybe enlarging the Fatton End. All something to worry about when we are promoted. PUP.

Watch Andrew Cullens last update, he explains it well, makes absolutely no sense to put away fans next to family stand, think where the lift is for away fans, where the coaches drop off, the milton end overlooks the family stand etc etc
