I think the mirrors mean that you are no one but yourself. As the layer is called fraud. Being what you are not. The mirror symbolize that. You are nothing. But a fraud who won’t accept it. But that’s just my theory

7:13 The first time I played this level, the amount of genuine fear I had when I saw TULPA open the exit doors and make a straight B line towards me was an experience I never expected to see in a custom level. Honestly one of the best custom levels I've seen in ULTRAKILL

Hi makpleyer Market plunger The mirrors may simbolize the phrase "smoke and mirrors" referring to trick someone usually and there's a myth that the Spanish conquistadors selled mirror to the natives in exchange of gold which was a really big scam And a tulpa(the boss encounter )is just an imaginary friend that you make with your own energy and it can cease to be your friend if he pleases and become evil and such according to folklore

This level is beautifull, but i had a buggy experience with it: Sometimes random enemies simply dissappear from the map and i cant keep going cause the encounter never finishes and i cant find the effing random stray or whatever it is thats still alive. So i once had to resort to find my own way with rocket riding and end up softlocking myself beyond boundaries where for some reason a checkpoint was checked in a place where i would fall repeatedly to death (this happened once and i never got to do it again, idk if its fixed already or if it was a dream by now)

the egg tends to dislike the hyper-jumpy, cutting out space between every line, editing style. It loses context and makes it harder to follow what's actually going on. the egg still remains.

I recommend AND THE CROWD GOES WILD(yes it is named in all Caps), Timesplicer and Hola's Moving Castle for the next custom levels you play (the last one may be a bit short so perhaps combine it with one of the other levels for a video)

This level was way better than its first/original counterpart, the original felt like it was very seperated and too big, also too confusing to understand on a first try but idk that was just me, especially with that drop it just seemed weird but yeah this level improved from its original tenfold

It cuts a lot between your dialogue You should let the game speak for itself a little and keep those cut out portions in sometimes
