Should watch his set with Skrillex and Four Tet at Coachella. And Freds Boiler Room set, he's incredible

It's not a duo, that DJ is probably just doing some background stuff. His name is Fred Again, if you want to see him in action this video of his set in London's boiler room that got him alot of recognition. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mZZdm9mbu5ilZY0.html&ab_channel=BoilerRoom

FUUUUUUCCCKKKK! Watching this and listening to this makes me skin tingle! Totally Epic. I would have given my left bollock to be in the middle of that!! How have you never been on my radar until now?!?! This is why Glasto is soooo good! Discovering epic shit I should have discovered long ago.

Possibly because Glasto books artists far in advance.

He was just before the headliners on the second biggest stage at the festival (out of dozens of stages, or hundreds if you count all the really small ones). Still pretty high up. I'm pretty sure he drew the biggest crowd for that stage all weekend though. I think he's easily earned a future headline slot on that stage. Typically the electronic music acts go on that stage rather than the main one (Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy have all headlined that stage in recent years). Having said that both the Prodigy and the Chemical Brothers have headlined the Pyramid Stage if you go back to the late 1990s and 2000 so it's not unprecedented. I think he'll be back as second stage headliner in a couple of years and then if he continues his climb, who knows from there?

@@gregmantis Had to look that up to confirm. Yeah, you're right. Dance music and daylight do not mix. I had no idea Glastonbury stages stopped at about midnight, that's awful!! Primavera it's about 6am, even our shitty Irish festivals go on till about 2am.

While it may look like just pressing buttons, there's way more to it than you probably care to realise, there's probably hours upon hours of effort which goes into creating his music and then his live sets.

@@hazethere9410 right yeah. Hours of practice into pressing buttons, chopping up and sampling everyone else’s real music. Basic form of mastery. Weird

@@NicholasJackson-qc6vf 🤣 have a day off, everyone samples music. The main reason we have dance and house music was purly due to sampling and not only that even some of the best known musicians and artists have all sampled someone else's music, it doesn't mean you're any less worthy of been a musician or an artist.

@@NicholasJackson-qc6vf you could say learning the guitar is hours of learning how to pluck a string. Just because Fred’s ‘instrument’ isn’t traditional doesn’t make it any easier! Look at the crowd he got anyways, plenty of people wanna see and enjoy his performances. 🔥
