I'm glad this is up. As a kid in Maryland, I saw Fred Valentine do the best throw I've ever seen from center field. Long fly ball, forget who was tagging from third base. Fred threw close to a 400 foot frozen rope to get the guy out at home. It was the late 60s. I think the best arm in baseball, Fred Valentine.

He was pretty good for 3 or 4 years. I remember The black fans at DC stadium yelling when he came up to bat.
