He's got a new defining moment now, doesn't he? Well done Freddie.

Freddie, you're now the guy who won Leicester Tigers the Premiership with that last gasp drop goal at Twickenham today!!! 3 years after this podcast appearance. Proof, just like you said about Gareth Southgate, that something good would happen to you in the next few years. Fucking top effort fella!

At least he got pulled off by the coach. Anyone else would have just got a bollicking and 1 slice of orange!

Similar situation happened myself. Was playing Leinster schools rugby 2 years ago and the game was broadcasted live on tv. We were complete underdogs and the game was neck and neck. I missed a last minute kick to win along with a number of easy kicks earlier that would’ve won us the game. I was the reason we lost that day. Never felt more guilt or embarrassment than that in my life and was known as ‘the guy who missed that kick’ for a while. Sounds stupid looking back on it as I don’t dwell on it anymore but can understand what Freddie’s describing.

Good lad, its rugby. Bollocks to the press. Your still a quality bloke and player. Any Welsh in you? Halfpenny on the brink see. Farrel will be known for those tackles.

Good on ya Freddie, still a good player. If people are judging a career on that one thing then they need to take a look at themselves.
@Ingramdumpkiss3 жыл бұрын
Course they are. You watch a game from the twentieth century and find one single player with the stupidity and arrogance to cost his team and all the fans that heartbreak - yes, he deserved to have his career blighted by that because none of the great or even just the ordinary players of the past were that arrogant.
@smudge66703 жыл бұрын
@@Ingramdumpkiss if you believe that then you really do need to take a look at yourself mate, saying that a player deserves to have his career blighted for that 1 moment lol and plenty of great players and ordinary ones have made total fuck ups.

Freddie Burns is a class act! What an unfortunate situation that was. Getting pulled from the game straight away was an odd move by the coaching staff, just seemed to compound the situation. Not the right response from the coaches.

Quick question, what does he mean when he said single handedly beat the all blacks cause I’ve searched Freddie Burns single handedly beat all blacks and haven’t found anything.
@JimBob275345 жыл бұрын
He's joking, he was in the England team that beat New Zealand in 2012. Came off the bench when England were already winning

Freddie i get the Southgate comparison but i honestly think he'll be hated even more after becoming England manager he'll will have not only cost us, Euro 96 but the World cup 2018 & Euro 2021.

Freddie sounds a bit like the Zionist Steven Yaxley ake Tommy Robinson . Two lessons to be learned here for young players . One: don't celebrate before scoring , two :never give up defending until they have scored . I would rather watch freddie play than Farrell , much more exciting .

Freddie’s attitude stinks. Trying to make an excuse. Rugby players don’t kiss their badge before scoring
