It’s incredible that he could sing this in that stage of his life. I also think that Freddie was a heavy smoker. I see him always smoking in videos. So it’s for me mind blowing how he could sing that powerful in his fourties’ anyway.

I was lucky enough to see Freddie Live with Queen. I can tell you, he was very content with who he was...strong enough to enjoy a good night of singing..even if the crowd only wanted the old stuff. He smiled at the end. Held out the mic....and .....let it drop from his hand all the way to the floor. And left...just as happy as when he started. If the crowd wanted entertainment..he could hold them in the palm of his hand.

John Deacon of Queen probably knows more about Freddie Mercury (the person - not the persona) than anyone else in the group and has respectfully not spoken publicly about him or tried to capitalize on his memory. I think truth and facts about Freddie can be found with him.

" The Show must go on" Brian May and Roger Taylor should take that to heart.What they have been delievering for decades is " cold coffee nostalgia", stagnation.The only innovative" Love of my Life" instead of " bring it back" " bring him back" .

Huh? They are not miracle workers. Bringing Adam Lambert in was smart and continues to keep Queen's music alive. After all Brian and Roger started the band and they brought Freddie in. Just wanted you to remember what side your toast was buttered on. We all miss Freddie. Those guys miss him more than you will ever know.

Brian May is an animal campaigner now, he is protesting against fox hunting, badger culling, founded Save Me trust which is an animal welfare organisation that campaigns against fox hunting and badger culling. In his interviews he is saying he wants to be remembered for helping animals, not so much as a Queen guitarist. He is a selfless and kindest man. I saw him in London's protests against fox hunting, he walked among other people, absolutely incredible. Do you often see film stars or singers going on protests with ordinary people? I haven't

I find it insulting that he would dismiss Queen Luke that. If Brian hadn’t been a rock star there would never be as much attention drawn to the cause. He can go and do regular things and be normal but he isn’t a normal person he is a legend. Don’t get me wrong but Queen gave him doors and windows that opened for him that would near been open to anyone else.
@nadiasartscrafts4528

@@nancyblumberg4612 But unlike your opinion, he seems doesn't care about publicity and popularity at all, he just doing at the moment what he think is more important for him at the moment, most interviews are about animals rights than about his group. If he wasn't famous, he would have done it anyway, without interviews and publicity, what is your problem? People fighting for animal rights everywhere, without being famous. I participate in fox rescue auction, I am doing all sorts of crafts and then donate them to auction (you can check my channel) I am not famous, but I do it because I want to do something for foxes and badges and other rescue operation by funding those organisation. He also is doing it because he is kind person and has more capabilities than other people.

All Freddie needed was a couple shots of vodka -- and then he proceeded to nail "The Show Must Go On" in one take. I'll say it again -- he did that song in one take. "The Show Must Go On" -- the entire Innuendo album, for that matter -- was what made Freddie Mercury into a legend. He was a courageous son-of-a-bitch who didn't give two shits about the fact that he was dying from, of all things, a bronchial infection brought on by AIDS. For those who've never listened to the Innuendo album before, it is a DAMN good listen. Close your eyes as "Ride the Wild Wind" or "The Hitman" is blasted. Take in the incredible melodies of the title track, "These Are the Days of our Lives," and "The Show Must Go On." Despite his failing health, Freddie rocked out harder on that album than he ever did on his previous efforts. Truly a musical masterclass.

I'm in the U.S...and Queen had its ups and downs of popularity. Here in NY...when they came over in 73..only the cool kids knew them. By 77, everyone knew them..and the cool people withdrew any apreciation. By 82...they were trying to recapture America..and it just wasn't happeneing..and Lo and Behold South America suddenly loved them. They played vast arenas down there. From there America seemed to be less of a concern to them. Now all these years later..the movie etc...alot of America is redisovering Queen. Well, ok..better late than never.

Freddie was not an unfortunate hysterical little gay who could be sent out the door; as seen in the film: Because of Brian’s instructions, Freddie Mercury was a huge talent and a brave strong man. His music is the music of freedom and beauty. Brian misrepresents everything about Freddie because he is an envious, vain, and jealous man.
