Rottweilers get such a bad name and it’s very rarely ever the dogs fault, but because of the way we humans treat them. Watching the transformation of Freddo has been a joy , and the icing on the cake for him and all your followers ,was this, your family now being his forever home! Can we all take a moment to appreciate all the incredible work that Luke and his family have put into these shelter dogs to give them the second chance at life they been in a shelter was never going to give them, the sad truth is that if it wasn’t for Luke these dogs would have been more than likely euthanised due to the fixable behavioural issues that had, especially Freddo and Yoyo had major trust issues bordering fearful aggression when we first met them. Now look at them, everyone of them now has a future that every dog deserves, a loving family, a warm bed and finally a forever home to call their own🥰🥰🥰

I then started to wonder about who had adopted him as Luke had mentioned recently Freddo hadn't received any applications. I thought maybe another Farm team member, Jason, Dylan or Rodney were taking him home but burst into another round of tears when I saw Sam, Elle, Evie and Wolf behind the door just waiting to shout "surprise". It really was a cathartic moment as we all have been on this journey with the Shelter Dogs, who were once scared and confused puppies, and who are now beloved family members. NEWS FLASH: FREDDO'S HEART BREAKS NO MORE!!!! Freddo's LIFE changed when he decided to trust someone (Luke) and surrended to love again. Freddo's heart had been so tested and broken it was doubtful if it could mend! Uncle Luke and Auntie Sam would not hear of it! So their hearts swooped him up and Freddo landed on a little peace of Heaven on Earth! I am so grateful for all this love, and for all the hope it brings us all everyday! I have become so emotionally invested in the shelter dogs over the past few weeks. I really wanted all their stories to end with a happily ever after. It seemed to me that Freddo had given all his heart and his trust to Luke and I worried that he would find it really hard to adjust to yet another home and another family. This is a wonderful outcome for him and thankyou to Luke, Sam and the whole farm family for loving and valuing him.

I can’t stop crying!!! FREDDO IS HOME!!! That totally caught me off guard! Seeing Elle, Evie, Wolfie, Auntie (now Mum) Sam and the doggos on the other side of the gate, started the water works. 😭 The joy I feel is beyond words. Freddo has worked so hard for this glorious day, and now his furever home is heaven on earth. No doggo is more deserving. We all get to watch him continue his journey and live his best life.
