I think that's intentional. Think of how scary games like subnautica are, there aren't jumpscares, it's the fear of being chased and not being able to know how close you are to death. Hearing the metallic stomps right behind you is what's scary.

@@ondrae7528 the animatronics chasing you is scary at first but after a while of wandering from box/button to the next, any fear is overshadowed by the looming frustration of having to walk around the same hallways before. plus the environment is just not designed to be effectively creepy or eerie imo

I feel like the fear of being chased would have worked better if, they take a moment to register you, then just full on sprint at you. It also would have been nice if you had health or something. Originally I thought that was what it would be like when Freddy brings you to the medical station. It also would have made things a bit less tedious, instead of immediately dying, Monty just fucking tosses your ass into a wall.

Like yeah, it makes sense that Vanny was trying to revive him, but before this there wasn’t even a single hint that Afton had a new body at all! There’s never a single hint anywhere in the game to suggest that somehow, Vanny has Aftons body, and that he’s somehow, yet again alive. He just, appears, for a single, rather tedious boss fight. And then he dies, there is no context or build up or anything to his appearance, or molten Freddie’s, he just, shows up.

The jumpscares are scary when you play it yourself, at least from my experience, not scary when you watch a video on it. But even then I knew it wouldn't be as scary as the previous Fnaf games because it would be open world, when its open world you just know when they're going to get you, meanwhile in the other games you don't. But Steel Wool still hold the scariest fnaf game/one of the scariest games ive ever played which was Fnaf Help Wanted VR

I mean, it would be the biggest plothole in the entire series since there isnt really any evil Freddy. Those Freddies are no different from Chica, Roxy or Monty in this game. Not at all evil. As for the real story of the game, well, thing is, all the background lore has always been better than the games themselves. People didnt really play FNaF 2 with the expectation to be a fully different game, people played FNaF 2 to get the lore faster. Could it have been better? Yeah, considering the game was quite significantly delayed due to covid, there seems to be plenty of oppertunity to smash the bigger bugs. Like the AI getting stuck in an animation when Gregory is no longer there(Chica can get pretty much perma-stuck in front of a locker if she saw you enter it but not exit it, you would need to load the next portion of the map to make her unstuck again). From all the FNaF games, it's by far the most interesting and fun one to play as FNaF Help Wanted was effectively a 3d remake of the original games mashed into 1.

@@mrosskne This version of Freddy isn't evil, I think the main reason behind why the rest of them are is because of them being connected to the animatronic network (which is what William aka Glitchtrap is controlling ) which is making them more hostile and more prone to violence, while Freddy is in safe mode and is not connected to any of those networks.

there was a time where it did and was actually quite interesting. fans started pumping out theories and scott cawthon didn't want to alienate anyone so he tried to make everything open-ended and effectively lost control of his own story, which is why its such a fucking mess now

Each one should have their own kill animation and there own set pieces and cool moments and they shouldn't be used so frequently. Same with the security bots since they don't actually do anything. Especially if you want them to be alerts for the main villians to show up. Make cool situations around them. They just grab you, shake your face and run off. They add nothing

That's how this channel is though. You're never really sure what the next video is. Sometimes it's stream stuff, other times he's hunting down garbage trucks, other times he's talking about serious issues. It's the charm imo.

@@Davwid Yea, like considering that almost all games are click this button to close the door or things so simple like that, having a full game where you can just even see the characters talking is a very big thing for us… i am truly happy to see big streamers and people who don’t really know the other games are enjoying this one, even though it has a lot of bugs, i still can’t complain
