NGL, I really dislike how young they made Schonkopf look. The guy's moniker is "middle-age delinquent" for a reason. Even at his introduction to the series the guy was in his 30s and should look the part, and should not be looking like some early 20 something athlete. At the same time Frederica looks like a kid. I can't recall if this particular scene was in the original OVA, but by the time of her introduction to the show in the OVA (exempting flashbacks) she was always portrayed as older, like a young woman in her early 20s rather than a 16 year old standard anime pretty face. The visual quality of the OVAs are indeed severely outdated by today's standards, but the ART DIRECTION was much, much better in the old OVA series.

I'm not like DNT characters too, MOST of them are TOO YOUNG. Yang looks like a university student, Schenkopp looks like a marine lieutenant/captain, not a colonel, Fredrick like a high school girl, should not been enlisted. For those elder, most of them have younger 10-15 years old than their real age. And the Reich characters, beyond Reinhardt and Kerichis, most of them are far worse than old OVA. The only thing DNT far better than OVA, are their uniforms; both side, FPA uniforms are more modernized and Reich uniform are more like German Empire before WW1.

そのへんがこのアニメが辛口評価される原因なんだろうね。作画は良いし、キャラも立ってるし、前作には負けるが声優もそれなり。でも、評価はあまり高くない。イゼルローンでキレるヤンの場面とか、脚本家の解釈がズレてんだよ。

@@jeronimo20002000 監督オリジナルの演出でも石黒版がシェーンコップら3人が喫茶店で軍人に絡まれているウェイトレスをスマートに助けてると同時に、同盟軍の腐敗ぶりを視聴者に見せたのに比べると明らかに劣る。この動画のシーンでシェーンコップやローゼンリッターに好感を持てというのも無理だし、原作小説のローゼンリッターを作戦のかなめに据えるヤンの心情の補強にもなってないんだよね。全体的にキャラ描写がダサいんだ、新アニメ版は。

@@kitaoka2012 そもそもローゼンリッターが荒くれ筋肉軍団ってイメージが無いんだ。荒くれ筋肉代表は銀河帝国貴族連合軍のオフレッサーっていうのがすでにいるし。

It's a bad reamke, they did not do this in the original. Soldiers in this universe would be comparable to medieval knights since they have to fight in melee combat a lot. They would tear a MMA fighter apart due to them doing prolong melee combat in armor making them beasts. She's not winning
