Today I am painting my friend's christmas present because I'm CHEAP, AF. WE GOTTA SAVE FOR COLLEGE AND NOBODY GONNA BE SPENDING $100 FOR EVERY FRIEND THIS YEAR NO MA'AM. f r e d e r i c. when mixing paint, add the light color first (red), then slowly add bits the dark ones until it’s right. then add black or white to make it lighter or darker. thank you skkssksk. in fairness this is very good

@@FredericChen p Also, the reason for why the blue and red you used turned into a really muddy purple is because the red was quite a warm red. Good purples that aren't muddy are mixed by blues and cool reds.

Cyan and magenta make quite a nice purple because those are the primary colours when you mix paints from what my art teacher told us when we did painting

Mix magenta and cyan to get a vibrant purple, the primary colors aren't actually red, blue, and yellow. Take a look in any color printer and the colors are magenta, cyan, yellow and black cause darker shades
