Admiral Fred is, without a doubt, one of the most underrated characters in the Star Wars canon. It really is a pity that Disney erased his existence when they made the Extended Universe unofficial. So happy he is getting some love here. This interrogation scene was so well written in the books.

Please excuse my star wars toxicity... Stormtroopers actually have very good aim and go through years of training, but intentionally missed their targets to let them escape in A New Hope. High Admiral J.T. High Admiral J.T. Yes however, the Rebels were leaving Hoth anyway and a good majority of them did make it off of Hoth so not much of a win for the empire. Also the AT-AT’s were basically giant tanks on stilts so their blasts are gonna have a bigger blast radius
