It took me several watchings and 3 years for me to realize that I think Ian was intended to be one of Graham's outfits in that wardrobe scene... (character wasn't officially introduced till later)

Yeah, Graham being the voice of reason is always funny. Pretty sure this was determined long ago, especially after Paul became the inventor and Beej and Alex became more consistent cast members.
