Hello Corey , is important that you decompress ( equalize ) your ears on the way down . The more you go down the the higher the pressure but as long as you equalize you will release the pressure in your body and there will be no problems with your ear drums getting injured . You just have to learn to equalize. This is my own experience I'm not expert or professional this things are always good to learn from a professional free diving or scuba diving instructor . You do need a course. Unless you just want to fuck safety. You can still dive as a natural human but you should really learn from others. Why build the wheel again?
