Welcome to this free English lesson about plants. Plants are one of the coolest things on the planet earth, and if you want to be able to talk about them in English, then this lesson is for you! In this English class I will talk about plant vocabulary and I'll also be using a lot of English phrases to talk about plants.

In this English lesson I will talk about: seeds, to plant, soil, ground, to germinate, sprout, root, to emerge, seedling, leaves, vegetable, crop, to grow, to harvest, garden, gardener, farmer, green thumb, houseplant, weed, pollination, and more! I will help you learn English vocabulary and phrases for use in everyday English conversations.

Having your own little vineyard sounds great, Bob 😘. I can well imagine you walking along your vines with an old hat, maybe made of straw, and showing us how the grapes grow. That would be really fun though. Or you could have a porch and sit there and watch your grapes grow 💜. Both would certainly be great and something I would wish for you to rest and relax in your retirement. Thanks for the great lesson, winegrower Bob. dear teacher Bob, could I ask you about the preposition "in" and "into" in the sentence you said "the seed turns into a tree". Is it false to use in instead of into, and what's the difference? thank you!
