Rumah Melaka by Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) was built with the aim of increasing the awareness and understanding of specifiers, architects, engineers, builders, interior designers, landscape architects and students as well as Malaysians and visitors to the development and importance of the timber industry to Malaysia's socio-economics in general in addition to further developing the timber industry as well as national tourism.
Rumah Melaka also houses materials and exhibits that will be constantly renewed from time to time in line with the current development and development of the country's timber industry.
