Kanha the Heartfulness Institute's International Head Quarter in Hyderabad is a spiritual retreat for thousands of its followers. Special events known as Bhandaras attract spiritual followers from various states of India and other nations, especially Europe.
This episode is trying to explore the various cuisines and restaurants of Kanha Shanti Vanam to help large number of Abhyasis or Meditation practitioners who may like to understand the food options at Kanha. Hope your doubts regarding the food are clarified.

Very good. But I also noticed the Serving man putting some food on a plate with his bare hands. Unfortunately, this would put off people in the West. He could use a Serving spoon or wear plastic gloves like most of the other Servers. Such a shame as otherwise, everything looks very good and well managed. But I have heard of people returning back to the UK from India with stomach upsets and having to seek Medical assistance. I think some standards regarding Food Hygiene should be established in order to make people feel more assured about eating there. In the UK we do have Food Hygiene standards that Restaurants, Take Aways and Food Outlets are assessed on. It would reassure visitors. The Centre looks like a very comfortable place to visit as well as being very well organised. If they can meet Food Hygiene standards, then this would reassure, particularly Westerners that their visit will not be marred by upset tummies! Thank you for the great video. Nameste 🙏 ❤

The basic philosophy of Heartfulness is to serve the mankind to make this world a better place to live. Hence starting with their basic USP - "Meditation", Food and Accommodation (barring during big ticket events the last two) is made Free, to further their movement across the society. The financial support comes through voluntary contributions from various individuals who support the cause. Anyone can contribute to this movement.

Regarding food, really Great work!!! Becoz sooooo much effort goes into it. Totally non-profit, if they are offering it for 30rs, if staying more than a wk. Not ez to manage such organization.

@@Mishtiman yes staunch supporters and followers of Heartfulness Meditation, many of them live inside Kanha. They bought a piece of land and constructed their homes. You have the option of renting a Service Apartment if you are planning to attend special events or enroll into yoga, meditation or healing therapies. Please contact their Call Centre to get your doubts clarified.
