9 жыл бұрынIn the summer of 2014 I completed the FAA's course, and then took a Cirrus SR20 from Fitchburg down through the Hudson exclusion at New York City. I flew straight down the river, below the tops of the skyscrapers! It was amazing to get to the bottom of the city and circle around the statue of liberty, then fly back all along Long Island!
I spoke to Kennedy Approach and they asked me to fly along Long Island below 500', so I got a great view of it and got to buzz all of the people on the beaches! It really does live up to its name though - it's very very long!!

Great #NYC tour, and on a nice day! It's always a blast to fly. I see you landed 17 at Chester, KSNC. It's is a cool place to visit. I've been there multiple times on occasion.

I recently passed my PPL at Coventry UK. I'm routinely in NY though - let me know if you're ever there and up for something like this as I'd be more than happy to meet up and share the costs :)
