Free Method To Go Back To Windows 10 From 11

Today I'm going to show you a free method to downgrade Windows 11 back to Windows 10 after the 10 day downgrade window. This is a follow up to last weeks video where I showed you a paid method to downgrade Windows 11 back to Windows 10. This method is a little harder but should give you similar results.

Going from 11 to 10 isn't a downgrade, it's an upgrade.

I HAVE A QUESTION - I HAVE WINDOWS 10 AND WHEN I TRY TO DO A SEARCH ,THE SEARCH LOOKS THROUGH THE ENTIRE COMPUTER - HOW CAN I MAKE THE SEARCH ONLY TO ONE FOLDER AND NOT THE WHOLE COMPUTER? Much easier and simpler way to backup a user in windows is to use Transwiz 1.19 (from ForensiT) which is free. Backup to external hd/usb-memory and then restore back on the fresh windows 10.

Hey man, I fell in love with your channel since I stumbled on it a few months ago. Thank you very much for your great content and research. But this one reminded me of something I wanted to do a while ago. Couldn't, so I gave up. Maybe you can help. Is it possible to downgrade from windows 10 pro to windows 10 home edition ? @@CyberCPU Thank you so much for the prompt response. I have this mini hp laptop that's very useful on the move and on which I installed windows 10 pro. A huge mistake ! It became too slow and just doesn't work like before (with windows 10 home). I'll try and let you know if it worked.

At Windows 10 apps from Microsoft Store doesn't work nor Microsoft Store itself. Need to clean install Windows 10. This tutorial could be useful. I guess.

Complicated ... yes. But the problem with the whole downgrade idea is the USER. files in your USER sub-directory. These are the Registy files. The downgrade does not clean out all the Windows 11 crap in these Registry files. It's probably less complicated and better to do a clean install of Windows 10 and reinstall all your apps.

Win11 is a nightmare for gaming. Drivers for x360 receive is not compatible and using old driver will make bsod and also not working. My 8bitdo dongle also make it bsod too. My dnscrypt also not working properly. And Microsoft upgrade is so sneaky. Must turn tmp off after downgrading.

Windows 11 is not as stable as windows 10 because it's a fairly new OS.. Windows 11 uses mo resources than windows 10... Windows 11 is not that great speciallY for GAMING I mean its not bad difference aint huge or not all experience those differences cause it also depends on the game and updates sometime.. In general w10 is just stable than 11 thats all

To be honest, these two videos are nowhere near as popular as I thought they would be. It seems not as many people want to downgrade to Windows 10 as I thought.

@@CyberCPU might be a cost/benefit analysis and ppl scared to brick their machines… also anybody with a brand new machine probably never had W10 on that new machine so the topic is out for them

@@CyberCPU Almost 60% of my customers who ask for a new installation are downgrades. If you do not fully use your computer, you probably do not need a downgrade. The customers who demand a downgrade most are customers who use their computer work-related or are people who have too many problems with the stability of Windows 11. I also have a "question" myself. The programs that are not supported by PCtrans can still be backed up via CloneApp? Yes, you have to reinstall the programs, but that way you can transfer the settings if they are supported by CloneApp. Right? I always used PcTrans to move to new pc's, never thought about to use it for downgrades. Top tip.

My laptop only has 4GB and came with windows 10 but I guess when it was updating it upgrade to ver 11. it did not even ask to upgrade. now i am at -57.4GB

This should work for that too. However, I highly recommend against it being that Windows 7 has been out of support for years.

Knowing 7 has long been abandoned by Microsoft I have had to be my own (feeble) support dude for my remaining Windows 7 machine. I still love it, especially the UI. MDT... even more work, but can do most, if not all of that if you set it up correctly. And also free. From Microsoft. And with even more work I mean days. You'll end up with a system that can do this repeatedly on multiple machines for friends and family.

I just bit the bullet and went to 11 from 10, using Rufus, very easy! All my data is NOT on the OS drive so it's relatively easy to change OS. I'm guessing but expecting to do exactly the same if/when I want to go back to W10.

It's an OS filled with even more bloatware, bs UI, very restrictive/limited, etc. I'm using 10 LTSC and am avoiding all that, but then by 2029 I'll have to change. 😕 Hopefully Windows 12 is better than the mess Windows 11 is. Am I avoiding 11 altogether? Yep!

Windows 11 doesnt exist. this is the Windows 10 bootleg and another one is Windows 12 witch is only for arm but has the same interface as 10 but with a new kernel. yet theres no 11 in beetwen

That's a massive faff, thought you had a more efficient method, I will just save my docs off, wipe it and re-install Win 10 then recover my docs etc. as per usual.

It's probably in your BIOS as an option and Windows 11 can be installed without the TPM chip.

@@ObakuZenCenter Yeah. I actually found it. But i had to watch a video, because it wasn't straight forward to turn it on. Also if i turn it on, then i have to reinstall the system anyway so technically it wouldn't get upgraded from my original Windows10 install

Why in earth do we want tp downgrade to Win10? Love Win11 and its way more nice to look at. Works perfect same performance at least as Win10. If it was Win8 you might had an argument but Win11 rocks.. it has it flaws yes- like system wide dark mode, but so does Win10.
