It should ideally be used in case of bulk cargoes that are transported through sea or inland waterways. FOB is slightly different from FAS. In FOB, the seller is also responsible for loading of goods on the ship.

इस वीडियो में Free On Board या FOB की विस्तार से हिंदी में व्याख्या की गयी है। Free On Board एक Incoterm है जो की आमतौर पर दो देशो के बिच होने वाले सामान के international shipping और logistics में उपयोग होता है। यह आदर्श रूप में bulk cargo के मामले में इस्तेमाल किया जाना चाहिए, जो समुद्र या अंतर्देशीय जलमार्ग से पहुंचाए जाते हैं। FOB Free Alongside Ship से बस थोड़ा ही अलग होता है। FOB में seller भी Ship में सामान की loading के लिए ज़िम्मेदार होता है।
