❤ LOVE LOVE LOVE ❤ EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS VIDEO!!!!! I have just started using trendy tresses and Goddess curl T1B/33 color was my 1st hair. Came out pretty. I was gonna do Nubian curl but after seeing your loc technique, you have inspired me to try this look. You are beautiful and these locs are GORGEOUS huntey! You are serving Lisa Bonet vibes! You are a beautiful 👑 love and gave a GR8 tutorial demonstration. I am gonna attempt to do a youtube video inspired by your technique. I am not that experienced in the world of video editing or doing hair but I like to experiment so I'm gonna give it my best and at least try. 👍🏾 I love your humorous clip inserts too lol 😆 Wish I would have ordered 2 subtle colors like you showed but i got all 1B. You did a phenomenal job and i love the fact that trendy tresses hair is so soft & light weight. Did you use Free Spirited Curl Pattern for both braiding and wrapping loc? I bought 7 packs of hair and I have a small to medium shape head maybe. Do you think 7 packs is enough? PS. I eat my pizza the same way. 😆 New subbie 😃

Do you think I could use some Freetress hair instead? And if so, which type of curl? Like maybe the Deep Twist? Edit: So I just bought 8 packs of Freetress hair, in Water Wave. I'll update as to how it turns out. To the lab! Final Edit: So 11 packs of hair later. I have completed the style. It looks pretty much like hers, I like it. But if you're one of those types of people who prefers their locs to look more smooth and neat during your wear, this is not going to be the style for you. I actually prefer mine to look more 'messy', I think it just helps with the locs looking more natural, but after just four days, the curls start to look frizzy and matted along the loc. The first day it's going to look like hers, but by the third day, you're gonna look more like Lisa Bonet. Just keep that in mind. Also, I don't know if it was the brand of Water Wave I bought, but, I had to FIGHT to braid this hair in to my hair, it tangled SO bad. It was literally the longest part of the process, otherwise, the style was pretty easy to do.

This legit looks like water wave but with extra strands used like 4-5 instead of 2-3. Deep twist does NOT separate well and the texture is way too loose to give this look.

These locs are beautiful!!!! I want to try these but I’m scared they’ll be too heavy for my hair. I have a 3b/3c hair and it’s hip length (stretched) so the locs would have to be butt length or longer, and I just know they’re gonna have my neck hurting ☹️

You could maybe braid your hair and fold it up onto itself and then wrap the crochet hair around that. So you’d probably have chunkier locs but they’d be half the length of your hair... does that make sense?
