Thank you Adria, I want to practice this and try it on my next quilt, which is almost done. Do you have any videos on quilting a braid in a border? I bought a stencil, and I tried practicing. I realize there will be back-tracking, but figured you wd hv worked out the best path, if you hv ever done it. My first attempt doesn’t look so hot! 😂🤣

I get nervous at the sound of the machine in continuous mode. It makes me want to quilt faster and I am novice enough for having to stop and see where I want to go. Is there a class that would talk me through the beginning of learning longarm?

The Build Your Portfolio Series is great for beginners. I cover lots of info and tips about blending rows, and stopping any time you need to just breathe or think about where you want to travel on the quilt❤️

You mention using the same color thread as the fabric and that is where I have problems. I usually do and I can't see where I've been and end up running into my lines, especially when I do meander of any sort. . How can I solve that other than using darker thread.??

I used a lamp to cast a shadow across the quilt. All other lights out👍
