Still new with Jeff's work. It is really helping me. I did get his Ebook. It has all of his descriptions and you can find whatever lesson or lessons you need. He also has built a table of contents that you can go right to it. He also has tag names that you can use. It is very very good. I like how he wants you to sing the vowels in a certain order. It makes me breathe in better rhythm. He then uses the scale where you are dynamically singing what you just accomplished with singing the vowels by themselves. He is using his talent as a teacher in telling you in words and then plays the scale in front of you. No backing track etc. You are there with Jeff. I do not find the quality and quantity of teaching other than on this site. I am getting better day by day.Thank you Jeff.

Gustav, For some reason I couldn't reply directly to your comment. I hope you find this response here! Whether someone has a high or low voice is dependent upon the actual length of the vocal folds. If you happen to be male, but with shorter than average vocal folds, then your voice would be higher in range than most men. Conversely, a female vocalist with somewhat larger than average vocal folds would have a lower voice than average. The mechanisms are the same for either sex, though men do go through quite a change when the vocal folds lengthen during puberty. I say all this to say, it's not so much a male or female voice as it is the length of the vocal fold that will determine how high or how low your voice sounds. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching! Jeff Rolka

Jeff using your warm up for almost two years. After 48 yrs. of relatively little vocal activity I have used you and my vocal coach Amber to rehab my voice. It was ravaged by pipe smoke and GERD causing Barrett's Esophagus Syndrome. After a year and a half and two auditions and recitals I was cast as Senator Fipp my first role in fifty years. I am a fixed income retiree but as I am able I will contribute to support your wonderful work. Would love to do a sing off with you some time Ha Ha
@JeffRolka8 жыл бұрын
+Joseph Bennett CONGRATULATIONS! It's great to hear that you've been cast and I wish you the best of luck in your role! Break a leg! Thank you for watching and thank you for your support! I don't know what a sing-off would entail, but the thought of it has me wondering what sort of event like that we could all do as a channel together. I'll have to give it some thought, and if you have any ideas, you know where to find me! All the best, Jeff

+ Jeff rolka thanks for your reply! But yes after about 30min-1hr warm up with breaks my voice / head voice opens up. I'm still working a lot on my pasaggio. One more thing I notice is some days my cord closure is really good and clean and somedays it's not as good, sometimes even a little rasp on lower notes and doesn't sound as bright.. I just practice on my own for almost a year now and I see a lot of improvement. I used to sing with very bad technique, squeezing my throat with no head resonance whatsoever, it took me a while for my throat muscles to start letting go.
@JeffRolka8 жыл бұрын
