No debate for me this month, 1st triple double, big games against big players (Giannis, Embid) even if they are still not able to win these kind of games. To finish on this game Chet scored 2 3pts on Wemby while Wemby mades 1 block and scored on almost al spots on Chet. I love seeing talent on the court and both got it but if Victor continues to improve his game until the end of the season he would also deserve the ROY trophy too

Maybe if Wemby was averaging 25 points a game I would consider him ROTY but atm he is going at 19 points. Chet's stats are not much different from Wemby and the biggest difference is he is on the team which is he is easily the 2nd best player on top of the Western Conference. I mean its obvious. Wemby is playing pretty good and his team goes nowhere. Chet can play whatever and his team will probably win. Wemby became better over the season and Chet is almost the same. Chet was the Rookie of the year because he did what he had to do right next to SGA but Wemby is now overtaking him cause hes actually doing it all in limited minutes. Wemby is becoming a leader and is the best player on his team. As of right now Chet is just a role player but a piece OKC needed.

On highlights side by side Chet might be better than Wemby because most people are missing on the point that Chet has a better team. He is on a better position to take shots and received the ball because of SGA, J Williams and Giddy. But if you look closely on how these two are playing offensively and defensively, Wemby is doing so much for his team on both ends. He needs to be guarded by 2 to 3 players on offense while playing too much on the defensive end to block some shots. Wemby also creates shots for his teammates but is not rewarded to often because of team composition at the moment.

He’s nice and will be an absolute problem in the league but simple maths normally says, you shoot more, chances are more goes in. The team is constructed differently but let’s not take away from the impressiveness of being an impactful player offensively (With an MVP type player on the team) and defensively while being incredibly efficient on those shots.

Chet was better at the start of the season when he was shooting 50-40-90-ish and Wemby was struggling offensively. Wemby is undeniably better now.
