@David David totally, but it really works both ways. Cleet wants to host drift events at the FF, Vaughn is a important person in the drift scene. So they are both benefiting.

Drifting is boring. There, I said it. Watch the first five minutes or the last five minutes, it's the same thing going on. If I owned.a circle track I would be right now and there would be racing going on, actual competition, not some exhibition-style event like drifting. Might as well be watching monster trucks making a lot of noise and driving over junk cars for the ten thousandth time, b o r I n g.

(Yanking the E brake every 3 seconds when its really not needed). Cleet needs to learn left foot braking and inertia initiations. He will get better, no doubt.

@@eriklarson9137 he doesn't keep his hand on the shifter driving Leroy cause he has to change gears, no reason to keep one hand on the handbrake cause you might need to rip it 🤷‍♂️ like resting your foot on the clutch/brake pedal cause you might need them... its just bad practice. Doesnt take an expert to know that, you'll never see a pro driver do it unless for show and they'll never tell somebody learning to do it

I mean Adam is a pro 1 driver just like Vaughn and Chelsea. If it were an actual battle Adam would kill him. I would rather see the two tandem for fun. Cleet has come a long way and it would be cool for Adam to comment on his progress.

Thing is the pro drivers are so good that in order to differentiate they end up judging on stuff that is a bit nitpicky and most people who don't follow it closely wouldn't even notice. It's why Aasbo gets so much shit about being a robot or that the judges rig it in his favor. His runs may not look the coolest but he does exactly what the judges are looking for. Cleetus is pretty much the opposite of that and if you suddenly threw him into that environment I don't think he would do well.

I would love to hear more of Vaughn and Chelsea's story. I remember Vaugh said he use to work in IT. I wonder what he did. And if he left because he hated it.

he probably liked IT, like most IT people do. But if you drift in your off time because you love it and you eventually get a chance to do it AND get paid for it? no ones going to stay in a normal 9-5 like an IT job. My family friend works as a network engineer at microsoft and hes pulling in about 250k....i bet vaughn makes that in one sponsor endorsement, and instead of having to use that money to pay for the drifting, someone pays him and for all his stuff. No sane person would take their job over their hobby, unless their job IS their hobby

ok First.. They get sooooo clooosssseeeee!!! holy heck man!! Second. it's amazing to see them showing love and pushing ol' Cleet to do better. You can practice till the cows come home, but sometimes you just need the pressure of performing without a net to really pick up the nuances. Hell Yeah brother!! You did a great job!

Just not getting this maybe because everything is in slow motion trophy trucks at full send jumping and bumping midair 4 wheel drift that 👌 gets the ol ticker pumping I am glad Cleatus is having fun just not so much on my end maybe a James cam to see what's getting wrenched on
