It dawned on me how tired and skeptical I've gotten over "Your choices really matter and change the world!" sales-talk; so many games don't deliver on that promise. So glad that Owlcat is actually good for that.

My biggest question is can I throw the unsanctioned psyker out of the airlock? Nothing against her other than I expect her head to explode and have demons crawling all over my ship.

Emperor's tentacles! There are so many tentacles in this game! I think this will be the best wh40 RPG ever. The Tentacle protects! PS Damn Fay and ther local tentacles!

Good job with the beta, I love the characters, they are ambiguous, three-dimensional, with an interesting psychological profile and coherent with the universe, the details of the lore are meticulous and expert level, as a lover of this universe for 25 years I applaud you for this excellent work, the combat is very cool, I just need a translation into Spanish

Larian studios Owlcat Games and Obsidian Entertainment are my favorite CRPG developers, i hope rogue trader will be more polished than pathfinder wrath of the righteous on release though, wish you guys the best and looking forward for the release date :)

its great how your choices affect the game so much, but i also kinda dread mising entire quests because i dont know a different introduction changes that xD i introduced myself as rogue trader, and i loved uncovering the secret, absolutely great. but now i kinda wish i also did the quest the other way, because how interesting it looks.

This is really promising, although I'd hope these two paths in the example are a) not the only ones or b) how you follow each of the paths comes with internal variety/ways to approach them on top.

Everybody is going mad for D4, while i am just sitting here hoping to play Rogue Trader. Cant wait!

I've got the game preordered. Really looking forward to playing in this setting as a vet of the tabletop edition.

Considering that you can claim inheritance to yourself even if you are going here as a Rogue Trader (bold move but who dare to stop you), that "wild ride" is for ones who really want some extra battles. And even if you are finished investigation you can keep the inheritance for yourself, deciding that no one else deserves it, and it will not be as "tyrannical' and "corrupt". But then you also have to decide some fates on case by case basis. It's also contain a battle, which, also depending on your choices. Pretty good quest for something to do on the side. And it's not the most variable quest in the game, but other that I know are related to the main questline one way or another. And even some "random" battles can have suprising consequnces.

I cannot wait to get my hands on this. I'm loving the art style.

I wonder of Owlcat is going to do something with this game like the mythic story options in WotR. Like allow the option of you being a loyal to the empire, being a more good and open to xenos and other ideas, or straight up joining the chaos factions.

Everything I see of this game reminds me so much of the Rogue Trader tabletop RPG campaigns I used to run for my group. This all bodes well. I am genuinely excited for this!

I wonder how the class system is going to work if there even is one. Will you be able to pick from classes like Arch-Millitant, Seneschal, and dedicated Rogue Trader or will you just be a Rogue Trader that can have their abilities customized to fit what role you want while supplementing the others with party members?

I really want this game to do well and I want to get it on day 1. Truly. I just fear for it though. I've had other 40K games that were broken for months (Necromunda for 1 example). This is one of the style genres I really love, and combined with the 40K lore, this has the recipe for greatness for me. But, I touched the stovetop too many times.

Really should add voice acting for the dialogue.

So hype for this game. Having played Two Pathfinder, I can say that this game is in good hands for a roleplaying game :)

I'm here after I finished Baldur's Gate 3. I love W40K and if we get a fraction of BG3's liberty and choices matter, we could have another great game on our hands.

Years ago I said a Mass Effect style game where you play as a rogue trader would be perfect for a 40k game and now here we are. Took a while but this is close enough. Now all we need is dark souls AOS game where you play as a stormcast. That would be pretty sick as well.

Anyone know when owlcat is planning to drop the game? I know its in beta so hopefully later months of the years, but have they dropped any specific time dates?

So I can't really find this answer anywhere. Is the game fully voiced? or only partially voiced? Since for us who has dyslexia That has problems with reading.

Yeah whatever Owlcat, just make sure NPCs will not die just because my alignment is Neutral and I cannot pick the obvious (Lawful) choice that will save them .... Also, make sure that "evil" doesn't mean "stupid" this time around...
