I think they might be the dead water dragons. Pretty sure those skeleton enemies are most commonly found in the Ancient Forge level (and across Parusa, which is where the water dragons lived) and in Bakunawa... particularly in Weapon's Core where there are just mounds and mounds of them... right where thousands of water dragons died from the 'accidental' laser test fire.

@@cecilharvey358 The skull doesn't look like that of a Water Dragon (Lilac or Merga), though. Moreover, for some reason, _they look like smaller versions of Bakunawa_ and I'm not sure if I like the implications of this.

It's funny how you bring up Spark 3, since both games share an eerie number of thing between them: - Both are "not sonic games." - Both are the first games in their series to feature rail grinding. - Both have plots that are a result of events from the previous game, especially with backstory to the world. - Both have 4 playable characters. - Both have levels where you are in space/leaving the atmosphere. - Both have a boss which has a "forced loss" on the first encounter, but with enough skill can be beaten. - Both have a boss involving piloting a mech/gundam. - Both introduce a mechanic used only for a few levels (fall damage for Spark and the heat meter for FP2) - Both have an antagonist with a motive that can be seen as selfish. And both games have hard final levels which tell you to git gud. Oh and both games were released before Sonic Frontiers, so if flops, people can easily fall back on these two gems lol.

I almost screamed when I saw that from someone else's gameplay of this stage and it still gives me goosebumps

That was literally the only thing that killed me during the level. I beat the boss without dying, but died twice to the OHKO for taking too long.

Not bad,but remember...Merga did this for the sake of seeking revenge at the Earth dragons and has moved on about what they did when she heard Cordelia's last words and saved Lilac by the end of the climax Also remember Lilac left to find Merga and take care of her until she's physically and mentally good enough to start over a new life again She can be a side character,a secret character that can help you against Brevon if ever he comes back,or even a playable character(but nerfed too much)

I never died during the puzzle parts I kept dying to the boss

Actually,no Just use any character,collect all tapes and it'll open the True ending no matter what character you're using

It was clear that Cardelia and Marga had a love affair. In the archival records of the drone, this immediately becomes clear. You don't even need to see the ending.

Get all the time capsules(the first one is obtained in Parusa as part of the story, the other 12 are rewards in the battle sphere, once you have them all, watch them and then go refight merga, the level will start after you beat her.

@@user-vg1ic3hk3l Agreed, I was creeped out properly by the level at first. Though when you die 20 times due to being in Syntax's sight for to long, it stops being scary and gets annoying.
