Freedom Planet - Wii U: Bloopers and Extras

Nothing really new at this point, but I figured I would share a few points of interest about Freedom Planet.
- You can annoy/disturb the character portraits by moving the analog stick around quickly on the character select screen. This only works in Time Attack Mode.
- By holding down on the Control Stick/D-Pad while progressing a cutscene by pressing X, a few bloopers will play instead of the regular content. I show off all of the ones that I've found.
- In Fortune Night 2, your character will start to dance if they're standing in the general area of a Disco Ball for a couple of seconds. This rewards you with an in-game achievement. Also, Carol must be off of her motorcycle in order to dance while idle.
- You can find a small musical composition on the walls in Fortune Night 2. If you play that composition on a keyboard, you'll be rewarded with an extra life and a few health petals. This also gives you another achievement.
- In each stage (all the way up to Battle Glacier), you can find 10 Star Cards hidden throughout each level. Once you collect all 100, a Mahjong mini game can be accessed in Time Attack as any character. Interestingly enough, the music featured in this mini game is the Beta for Aqua Tunnel 2.
I wouldn't consider this a complete list, just what I found from playing on my own. There are other achievements that I'm aware of, but these are the ones that stick out more to me. If there are any other cutscenes or secrets in general I didn't show/completely missed, feel free to comment below. Anyway, enjoy!

This is probably the first game I've ever played that added bloopers to it. It shows that they're human, and I've got a lot more respect for them!

On the Fortune Night 2, they added a funny feature, there are Male and Female loos around the area, that the characters can go in, nothing will happen except for when you put the girls in the Male loos, you'll hear someone go "hey!" And then they'll get launched out, and with Fortune Night, if you stop by some benches, the character will sit on the bench if you remain idle

I lol at all of Lilac's mistakes. "Does that mean y-that you'll help?" °_° I honestly feel like her voice actress actually messed up on those lines accidentally and the designers were like, "Hey! Let's put these in the game!"

+SlyBiffrons one thing i have to wonder is the "Tim tams currency exchange program." No way is that one an accident. It had to have been done on purpose.

He sings about a fart, apparently. And butchers several songs in the process, including one from The Sound of Music, before telling Syntax to sing along.

Unfortunately, I do not know what scene it is. The only reason I even know it exists is because the audio and sprites for it (and yes it's very definitely Brevon's actual voice actor) are present in a version of Carol somebody made for MUGEN, as part of one of her winposes. I semi-confirmed that there is indeed one of him singing by seeing a few other rumours of it in various places, but I haven't found video footage of the scene anywhere. What I do know is that the line he says immediately _before_ everything gets silly is "Refuel there and set a course for our nearest command outpost."

FlameUser64 hm, there's a line where he talks about scanning the kingdom stone, so it may be that one IF the blooper is in the game. I'll definitely look into it later

In the beta version, torque was actually playable and holding up as you press A to start makes his neck stretch until his head is offscreen as he goes « WOOOOOOH »

You spelled them correctly actually lol and I'm curious to see if they add any new bloopers and secrets as well. Hopefully the DLC will come out soon since we've had the beta for so long now

+Duke091 ppl are saying we will get them sometimes around the end of the year or Christmas time. I just finished the game but kinda would rather wait till its official for the DLC to be there. Torque could be that poker face in one of the bloopers and spade would probably have his "angry face and ready to punch our faces" with his fist shaking along with the spazzed control pad.

I have access to Mahjong even though I don't have all 100 cards. Perhaps it shows up when you get all the cards of any area (I got all the cards in dragon valley).

Ah, a tim tam is a chocolate covered biscuit that's primarily found in Australia. The voice actor, Edwyn Tiong is originally from Australia, so he made a reference to his homeland with that joke is all lol

+Carson Smith The Tao Tokens take you to a Bonus Room after completing a stage. Here you spend the orbs you collected orbs to win extra lives or Shield Crystals.

Ok. I've already found that out so now the only thing that I don't get is the orbs. Does it count the other orbs other than the one shown in the bonus room or is it just the one variety. And besides the bonus room and refilling your special meter slightly it doesn't do much else. Are those the only two things it does or is there more?

+Carson Smith any orb will count towards the total, but from what I've experienced, if you have a high number of one particular orb, you'll have a higher chance of getting the corresponding elemental shield in the bonus. The orbs also refil Torque's ammo when you play as him. Thankfully any oeb refills all of his ammo, regardless of the element.

Traditionally in countries such as Japan and China, family names come first. Kamisato Ayato and Kamisato Ayaka from Genshin Impact are good examples of that.
