The Sirui P-Series of monopods are superb. The build quality is some of the best I have seen and the functionality is spot on for professional or amateur work.

Very interesting review. Do you know the weight of the monopod without either the Manfrotto head or the tri-foot assembly and what the maximum height is (again without head or feet assembly)? I'm considering buying one of these for use on a holiday to Alaska and don't want to be carrying all the unnecessary weight of the head and feet.

Thanks Nick. I just ordered the Sirui-P-324s. Could not find 'SR'. Hope it is the same. Glad I saw your video, was perfect timing. I already have the fluid head.

Wow! I never bought such a refined, top caliber machined piece of photography gear as my new Sirui P-324S Carbon Monopod. I call it a Trimonopod. Thanks for your informative video. ps: unable to post a pic.

Forgot: Dug out my old Benro fluid head. well balanced on my Sirui. will have to order a few QR plates.

Hi what size does it collapse down to - I travel and put my monpod into my carry on.

It depends on the model you get. Mine packs down to 750mm but some are shorter, others are longer.

As far as I can tell, it is just the updated version of the P324s. Not sure what the updates are though...they don't look that different.
