Hey! I imagine you can. I’ve seen other people with neglected locks in their beard. I honest play with my beard and comb through it with my hands pretty often, so it never has a chance to lock up, but I’m guessing you can do it if you really don’t touch it.

you are a super beautiful white rastafarian, I loved your vision about all of us living in a jungle climbing trees and eating fruits, I also have a similar vision , with fields of lots of colorful wild flowers reaching shoulders running in those fields, gatherings, rituals, prayers and singers , living together like one family

You're awesome.I didn't understand exactly what freeforms wore. Im 4 months with my dreads, and they're interlocked. You have similar hair to me, thinking about going semi freeform one day. I love hearing people start their journey. Very inspirational

There is one reason to cut your hair that's not social programming and that is for someone else. There are many people that can't grow hair for medical reasons. My hair on top is freeform dreads and everything else is grown to donate. The hair I cut is for someone else and the hair I keep is for myself.

Thanks for the video! I got hair to my stomach that I'm just going to leave be. I'm glad you specified how often you _wet_ your hair. Because when people say they go this and this long between "washing" their hair, it's not clear if they mean cleaning the hair specifically or merely taking a shower. I'll keep on showering as much as I like, and maybe sneak in a swim in the fjord while it's still Summer.

Do you have any issues with the scalp hair like spiderwebbing and creating a sweaty jungle you can't reach or soothe? And does it stay clean and sweet? Have you ever had a dread you cherished actually snap or break off? I'm trying to decide if I want to manipulate my dreads as they grow at all, basically trying to avoid a spiderwebhead.

Any tips and alternatives in dealing with itchiness, grease and lice from the beginning? Do you use any natural products like vinegar to prevent it? And how much often do you wash your hair in the first 3 months when you start it

oh man, im not cutting my hair anymore. my research is complete (for now). im going to get natural dreads. cant believe it took me so long to find this out. the bible kind of says men should have short hair but from all my research, long hair is the way to go.

I just started the process of trying to grow freeform dreadlocks. I already have long hair beyond shoulder length. I'm going to try misting my hair with salt water in a spray bottle. Has anyone tried this and does it help?

@@KyotosReign how is it not racist? It's the exact same hair style... it's literally the natural state of human hair left untouched. If the only difference is a person's skin color, how is having a separate word to describe the same thing on a different race not racist? Maybe we should have a different word for black peoples ears? Or their shoes... what a insanely stupid comment.

@@KyotosReign nah your just literally racist lol. I'm white my hair is locked up and I have like probably 20 jamaican customers plus many more black customers and they have called them locs and complimented me on them. I call it my hair. Because that's what it is. Its the exact same hairnstyle, it's done the exact same way. There is literally no difference so to have a different word specifically to exclude other races, is racist lol. Call it whatever you want.. you're still racist lol

@@MzMelissaRae ok but thats how people washed for thousands of years. shampoo is literally a marketing ploy. they literally spent money on developing foaming agents to make you think that the shit is doing something. but to each their own maybe you feel you need to cover yourself in chemicals and fragrence to be clean..

@MzMelissaRae 3 жыл бұрын
@@sjm98126 You do know there are all natural soaps that can be used that are plant based and chemical free right? There is no way you or anyone else can convince me that water alone will ever clean any part of your body including your hair. And if that’s what you think that you can just run water through your hair and think that alone is doing something well that sounds like personal problem that needs to be addressed
