Can freehand chainsaw milling be oddly satisfying? I found myself just sitting and watch the whole length clips while editing, so I thought "why not show the whole process in real time"?
Cutting a log this way makes the saw cut like butter through the wood, compared to a classic chainsaw mill. This is the first time I tried to cut a log freehand like this, and it was suprisingly simple to cut it pretty straight. Not perfect, and will of course waste more wood than a bandsaw mill, but I only have chainsaw.
