Modes of Payments, as a freelancer, if you are confused or unaware, I am sharing a few of my used & experienced payment modes and methods in this video. If you are from India, the following are the documents you must have:
1. Bank Account, swift complaint.
2. Paypal Account, verified.
3. Pancard
4. Aadhar Card.
If you are a minor you may use your parent's details.

One thing do not forget about Paypal's Money holding that they do. It's really frustrating & it takes like 21 days to be able to actually withdraw the money after receiving it in your Paypal account. I'm still in that loop!

If you are receiving payment for first time or the particular payment is unusually huge than your regular payments, then there are chances PayPal holds it. I faced similar scenario. There is option in PayPal where you can request PayPal to release it. Then it will be credited sooner.

Hello Thanks for great information. Is it advisable to use separate bank account (which is not used for regular transaction like salary credits) for receiving freelancing income. Keeping security reasons in mind.

See if as a Freelancer your single transaction is less than 1 lakh/5Lakh then you can use Savings/Salary Account. But it would be great if you keep a separate savings account. Nonetheless, all the accounts are linked with a single pan card & Aadhar number so it will hardly make any difference.

After my work they hv paid me to my US based Account (First century) created by PAYONER The company paid me by their account in CITI BANK. BUT the CITI BANK IS saying me to link my US BASED ACCOUNT I.e( First century Bank) to receive my payment. For this I hv to pay a refundable $150 and a valid identity document. What to do now. ..plz help me

You can but until you verify the money will not be transferred into your bank account.

Direct card payments are I guess banned in India. PayPal, first get your paypal verified and then link it.

Hi, I have been watching your videos for past 2 week now and they are really good for freelancers. I am not sure if you can answer this. But recently I got a notice from my kotak bank that I can't use my saving account for business activities and i need to open a current account with the bank. But I am just a freelancer and I am not Registered anywhere. I can't open a current account. Can we please book a one to one session?

There some mistake, check with PayPal Customer care it should 750 rs plus rs 3/- They do not charge anything to transfer fund into your account.
