When will the other brands make a discreet cup? I never pump much more than 3 oz per side so the 8 ounce capacity is so overkill and so not discreet!!! Thanks for the review!

The first time I used my slimfit5 cups they pinched and weren't very comfortable. The second time I used Legendairy milk inserts inside the slimfit5 cups (just careful not to plug the hole into the cup) and the cups were SOOOO much more comfortable and I got a very comparable output to my lactek flanges! I did ditch the Y connector and connected Spectra tubing directly to the 90 deg connector. Will update if my experience changes at all after more use but right now gonna keep trying with the Legendairy insert hack.

Freemie cups are the reason I'm still pumping. They are super convenient, painless, and discreet. I pump in the car while running errands or shopping. It's so easy. I do think the ultra-slim is pointless simply because the pump is still loud so it's difficult to be discreet

I use just the L connector with my spectra tubing. And i find it empties me really well. I did noticed the suction is stronger with the cups rather than regular flanges. But if you don’t put diaphragm on correctly it’s little to no suction.

So are you pumping one breast at a time? Or are you using the spectra tubing with the Y connector to pump both breasts at the same time? And also using the L connector as well? Bc my greenie pump only has one hole to insert tube into.

I love the size of the Freemie SlimFit5, but I find they pinch. Also, they don’t fully empty me. I have been using the Rose pump as well, but I like my Pumpables Advanced better.

Did you try different tubing with the slim fit to determine if it’s the tubing that is losing suction or the cup? Perhaps the LM tubing would help not lose as much suction?

Would you do a review of the slimfit cups with the baby buddah. Hoping that those paired together will lessen the strong suction of the baby buddah.

I didn't like the sharp angle so I use them with willow inserts and find it more comfortable.

Yeah I actually really dislike all these wearble pumps aside from Spectra. They often don't work but you can't return them. Willow is the absolute worst.

I use these at work they don't pump as well as my caracups or regular flames. The angle on these gives me a pinching feeling unless I either put cushions in them or lube up with lanolin. I wish I liked these more!

I recently bought the momcozy collection cups. I have had like no output. I have used their 19 mm reducers and tried to adjust the cups. I emailed them to try and get instructions as i felt that maybe i was assembling them wrong and they don't have a manual?! I personally think they just stink and watching this your confirming that not all collection cups are created equal! I dont have money to waste on such things. Please do an evaluation on the momcozy cups and tell me how much suction they have! Help me confirm I'm not crazy lol

How would you recommend I size myself for the fitme inserts for these freemie slim fit cups? I have flat nipples & they do not stretch at all, but they measure 18mm. Do I order an 18 mm insert or do i go up to a 19 or 20 for comfort? I’m not experienced at pumping at all!

I really liked the slimfit cups - I started out with the original cups and didn’t notice a significant difference in the output between the two. Also I figured a way to hack the Medela pump onto the freemie cups (I had a Medela freestyle from the last baby) - the ends of the Medela tubing fit into the ends of the L connectors really snuggly and I got great suction with it

I wanted to love this system, and maybe it’s just the cups that is the problem, but I hate it! Pumped for 40+ minutes and got barely more than half an ounce total. Definitely not good and completely disappointing. It’s an expensive system and I’m not happy about the performance considering it can’t be returned (understandable), but in order to continue to use it so it’s not a massive waste of money I must buy another cup set from a different company. Super unhappy about this, but as a RN getting ready to go back to work & a low supplier whose baby was hospitalized for failure to thrive, it’s extremely important that I’m able to be hands free as it won’t be possible to leave the floor to pump for 30 minutes every two hours while I’m at work. So disappointed, I just can’t say it enough.

Ugh.. I’m so sorry to hear this! It sounds like you didn’t get a let down at all. Are you getting suction? Do you have the right size? There is so much that goes into getting good output beyond just the pump.

@@NewLittleLife I could feel the suction pretty darn well and I wore 24mm inserts they sent me, which is what I’m currently using with my Spectra. I typically get between 3 & 4oz total at my midnight pump and then 2oz total on every pump thereafter (I’m currently triple feeding). I watched a bunch of your other videos and decided to use my regular flanges with the pump and I’ve had results consistent with my S2. I wanted to mess around with the inserts to see what kind of results I got, but Freemie sent me two sets of 24mm inserts but not the 25mm and 28mm that come standard with the kit, so I’m waiting on a warranty claim now for the missing pieces. My nipples are different sizes, which doesn’t help. When mommy son and I were in the hospital, two lactation consultants actually sized me with 30mm, 32mm, and 36mm flanges just for my left side, so that’s a funny little situation I’m trying to work through, but comfort and output are pretty good with the 24mm shields on both. I’m still trying other sizes, though, to make sure I find the best fit. My nipples seem to swell quite a bit, which is what I think messes everything up. I also use the LaVie heated massagers with pumping. I’m now debating on buying the LM pump for the cups because I don’t know how long it will take Freemie to fulfill my warranty claim. But, anyway, so so sorry for the ridiculously long reply!!

I bought the slim fit cups in pink and they tore my nipples up. I’m not sure if I have elastic nipples or what but it was not good for me. I can’t return them either 😫

Either really. The liberty has the screen like rose, but the independence is very similar otherwise to the liberty.

I recently tried using the slim fit cups with the genie advanced and hated it. I did not get good output and it clogged my boobs. Then I tried using the slim fit with my BB and it worked out great. It must be the strong suction from BB that made it work. I was close to selling or throwing out my slim fit cups.

Yes, I emailed freemie and they said the cups haven’t been tested with other pumps so they can’t technically say yes, but I definitely think so. The tubing is very generic.
