I remember reading an article back when "This is Where I Came In" was released. "inside sources" said that the Bee Gees kicked somebody out of the recording studio for using auto tune. Said article implied that they were being prima donnas. But, in reality, using auto tune on their harmonies would've ruined them. And all that article did was make my appreciation of their music rise.

This group is something to behold, how can you explain their ability to compose a song without knowing how to read music, just relying on instinct and in a flash you have 1 or 2 verses of a song. That’s talent plain and simple.

The voices and song-writing talents can only be explained as a divine gift. I certainly don't mean to take anything away from their hard work and determination, but their heavenly voices are not of this earth. I still get goosebumps when I hear their harmonies. I also loved Andy Gibb and was devastated when he died. Thank you, Brothers Gibb, for sharing your songs with us. You are an exceptional family of talent, humility and love for each other.

Congrats, barry on your recent award, well deserved. It certainly belongs to all of you, as you mentioned. Robin's "I started a joke" is unforgettable and heartwarming. Such an emotional and beautiful song. So sorry to hear of maurice's passing. You are left to carry on for all the fabulous music you all made possible. A great Legacy, indeed. I am thankful for the beautiful music I enjoy so much. Bless you all and your loved ones.

It makes me mad that they weren't nominated for best album in the movie with John Travolta. That album sold millions. WE MUST PUT PRESSURE SO THAT THEY GIVE BARRY THE OSCAR THAT BEE GEES WAS CHEATED OUT. SINCE BARRY IS STILL ALIVE.

I love the BeeGees I love their music I love the way they are down to earth,I the way they love each other as a family they are awesome to watchAnd listen to. They can be so funny to and so devoted to there music. I wish we could still see more of them like other’s have past away on tv. I don’t know why they don’t still show them. Once an awhile. It’s sad they show others that have past but I do not see The Bee Gees any more.

The songwriting and harmonizing between these brothers helped them to create music through the decades. A very important band in the overall history of rock and roll. Contributions to be cherished by generations to come. I pray the world has time to listen. I grew up with it.

The dynamics is there. I was once in a night out. They had a disco night. EVERYONE was dancing...NO ONE stood at the bar to talk or to order drinks😄.

Fantasic video, loaded with Bee Gees music. Barry is adorable. Robin is cheeky. Maurice has the best smile. Andy, the mini Barry just as strong, on his own.

My favourite are barryrobinmaurice. They were a miracle. So good. Nobody made so many top ten songs. They played folk, pop, soul, disco. And all they transformed in gems, masterpieces.

The Bee Gees widely admired the fab four and in the end out-Beatled them. The BGs' ability to reproduce their studio sound in an impromptu setting, and courage to rise from the ashes during their long career was astounding.

I first picked up one of their albums in 1973. I was hooked for life. Maurice by far has got to be one of the bassist ever, Robin the best vocalist ever and Barry the most talented writer and a band leader with that "Intuition" for a hit. Today it's so sad we don't have all of them still. Barry pushes on with Linda reminiscening this staggering career that will never happen again with the music of the era! It was awesome growing up with the BeeGee's.

I remember, I was 14 yrs old and I bought the first 45 of the Bee Gees. Early 60's. Been obsessed since as now and I'm 69 yrs old! Even my 2 daughters have kept them alive.

I know everyone felt Bsrry was the handsomest that I absolutely love them all and especially Robin Gibb he was so handsome with his chiseled beautiful face and his voice was just out of this world and still is to this day! I love hearing him sing.

Barry was the one considered handsomest. My fav was always Andy for looks, but something so endearing about Mo and Robin. Robin had the most soulful voice of the lot.

They were all very handsome men. That family was gifted in so many ways: good looks, Talent, intelligence, humble, down-to-earth, Etc. However, when it comes to looks, Barry is outstanding, hands down. In his later years Mo became incredibly handsome with that killer smile and the Hat and the glasses and the very sweet personality.

@@mikopaulperez9612 I'll conditionally agree The Beatles were the greatest, with the Bee Gees great but in a slightly different category. The Beatles forged new paths constantly, and thus were musical explorers blessed with musical genius. That said, The Beatles by dint on NOT being brothers and NOT singing together from boyhood wouldn't quite match the perfect harmonies, perfect melodies, and the perfect phrasing of the Bee Gees. The Bee Gees had a sense of melody which was unparalleled. Added to their unique vocal timber and three strong voices, they rose to amazing heights of creative output. Of course, it's silly to get too dogmatic while comparing two stellar groups like The Beatles and Bee Gees. Both were great in their own right, and it's little more than a parlor game to try to determine which group was "the best." Peace
