We walk to an unnamed beach from the Carnival Dream in Freeport, Bahamas. We see a shark also.

Heading there in a week or two. Really appreciate that you shared your experience since I've been looking at online maps for alternatives to the ship-sponsored excursions. I did find the following a bit interesting. 5:36 "Allegedly, they have shark feeding"... 100 yards away... 8:30 goes in the water 10:22 "I did notice something. No fish!" *another clue that sharks are around. Later in comments "We didn’t know about the sharks until we left the beach. " LoL I know... hindsight is 20/20. Not trying to beat you up with this comment. I just found the the chain of events a bit funny.

I guess we thought the sharks would stay over at the restaurant where they feed them. That was probably stupid. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

Thanks for the Video, We did the same at Amber Cove. We walked over to the small beach visible from the ship on the side of the RUI Resort. It was about a 15 minute walk but they had shops and lounge chairs and we bought a bucket of beer

Great video...I usually try to look for public transportation, but Freeport really doesn't have the same low cost transportation that even Nassau has. We have taken the public bus many times when we were in Nassau. Originally I was frustrated with my options in Freeport, but now knowing this is an option for a quick swim and lunch....I am happy with this low cost, chill alternative. Thank YOU!!!

Great video and your discovery of this "new" location! Did you end up having some munchies at Pier 1? Hidden Gem so close to the port? Pretty accessible it seems for a quick little walk and to sit on the beach and stick your feet in for a bit. Followed your directions with google maps too!

I'm going in a 1.5 weeks. I like that it was that close & that restaurant was close by. Would you sat it's safe enough for a woman to venture out there alone? Really enjoyed the video, the very descriptive directions, video of restaurant's menu & the scenery. Do you have any recommendations for some fried conch? Thank you!
