Freerunning Competition in Jordan - Red Bull Collonade Run 2013

Jordanian traceurs got the opportunity to compete and showcase their skills in the Red Bull Colonnade Run- the first of it's kind within the region. Competitors displayed jaw-dropping skills as they became one with the ancient historical grounds of Umm Qais. Burhan Koja Oglan free ran his way to 1st place and will go on to represent the Kingdom in the Red Bull Art of Motion World Final at Santorini, Greece.

first of all i'am happy to see jordan "freerunners" gathering and i'wich you guys train more pure parkour and real freerunning ..but redbull it's the last time we say to you that there is no competition in Parkour or freerunning . R.I.P LE PARKOUR

but how it feels is partly determined by "how it looks", and some of those moves look like a lot of pain i think he didnt talk about the aesthetic point of view but rather about clean technique vs damaging your joints ;)

Um, isn't the whole premise of free running (Parkour) to maintain and fluidity whilst moving rapidly over / through a given terrain...? This edit is just a series of individual tricks off obstacles!? 'Free-tricking'..?

Well actually you guys saying those guys aren't doing good, and you could do it better or a 14 y/o old, Whatever. i was there in the competition and the place was harder than it looks. It would be more fair if the competition was made on a built stage.

Yep I agree, but red bull community in Jordan have lazy members to cost themselves to do it like what you said, and they take the cheap way always with all of the events! It's shame on them u.u I hope they do it better next time :S

I've already done a video, not worse and not better, only is another video. But seriously, landings in the video are so bad. If you want I tell you one by one. 0:48 , 1:17 , 1:22 , 1:27 (they cut it because probably he has hurt himself), 1:41 ( he almost touch the floor with his ass ), 2:00 , 2:15 .

So what's special in this? You could do all these tricks at any park including trees, benches and stairs... Seriously bad place for freerunning, all the other Redbull's videos are crazy and the places are great, e.g. snowboarding films.
