2 жыл бұрынAn English cover of the song "Freesia" by the Japanese artist Uru, which was the final ending song of the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam - Iron Blooded Orphans. The series concluded its original run 5 years ago today (on 02 April 2017) so I began work about a month ago to create this cover to commemorate the anniversary.
In my mind the original is a beautiful work about how hope perseveres even if we don't, and was perfectly fitting for the anime's conclusion. I tried to retain as much of the original meaning in the Japanese lyrics as possible, and while I know the singing in this cover isn't exactly top-notch, I hope my lyrics at least do the song justice.

This song….it really hit me in the feels….it perfectly describes how Tekkadan began….and ended. My friend….let us continue to raise our flag….and water the seeds they left behind for us so that one day….they grow and blossom into beautiful flowers of hope.

This was really good! The lyrics and the vocals are both great. I couldn’t really tell it was synthesized at first and even then it sounded incredible. Really hoping for and looking forward to more.

Wow this song… it always struck a chord in me with how sad and hopeful at the time was, but now knowing what the lyrics are just 😭😭😭 Also, have you considered doing other themes from the show? I’d love to see an English dub of Orphan’s Tears, the 1st anime’s ending song! 😭

the lyrics are super good i just wish it didn't sound as robotic but all in all good job and keep up the work. Do you plan on doing any more covers? side note it still sounds good, it was just a minor thing.

Thanks you, I'm glad you liked it! I'm mainly a lyricist and my singing is terrible, so the vocals here are actually AI-synthesized. I hope to get to work with talented singers to perform my lyrics one day as the channel grows, but in the meantime I will keep experimenting and improving. Yes I am working on more covers, stay tuned if you like Gundam and other mecha anime!
