Just a side note Kyle said at the auction that he liked a lot of the horses but in the end “the one” wasn’t there. He can get whatever horse he wants. Kyle is a car guy which is why we purchased him a C3 corvette this spring! He only rides a few times a year so wants to get a horse he enjoys riding when he’s with me but ultimately he doesn’t want a “forever” or just “his own” horse. He isn’t a horse crazy guy but he is the best husband in the world which is why we support his car hobby with parts and hot rods! Lol ❤❤

You can tell this was an up scale auction compared to those closer to your home. These horses were healthier looking and looked better care for than those of the last you videoed. Love the way you explain a lot about these horses and auctions.

That hematoma is no big deal. My horse had one just like it. They recover sound when given a little time off. It doesn’t even need to be drained most of the time. Sad that people throw them away when they have such a simple issue.

Omg I haven't seen so many amazing horses at an auction. The paint at the beginning with the black almost eye liner was so pretty. The big black horse reminds me of horses in a fanasty book.

So many horses end up making the rounds through auctions or even end up in the slaughter pipeline because people don’t think before they buy. I’m so impressed with the way you weigh all of the important issues that come along with having a horse. Level of training is actually very important especially if you are not a trainer. I love them allí, but my favorite was the friesian percheron mix. So stocky, tall and beautiful!

Oh my gosh, the horses at the auction looked really healthy and mostly sound and well taken care of. Would definitely be a hard decision to find the special one in that group, a lot of beautiful horses to choose from.

The horses in the auction as the most well-behaved group of beautiful and clean horses I have ever viewed on KZfaq. The ease they have shown at being handled by a stranger is remarkable, in particular with them all being in a new place. I really hope that you film this action every year from your home area. Of course, the horses all feel the affinity of love that you give tt them as well. I grew up with farming and ranching, and although I am many decades away from that beloved life, I so appreciate your creating this channel for us to be a part of. I had to sell my own personal horse that I had waited all of my life for from our mare right after she was completely trained and had served as a pony horse for my uncle's thoroughbreds who raced and showed, due to needing to have the braces on my teeth paid for. It broke my heart and still does all of these years later, so I really feel for the young lady who had to sell her personal horse. She will likely never know about my comment here, however, if you can, please let her know that my heart goes out to hers. She was the filly of our dam that was black with a white blaze and four white stockings registered quarter horse Indian mare and my Uncle's registered thoroughbred stallion sire. Our horses worked our cattle on the home place and of course up on the range. I loved seeing all of the beautiful horses and the time that you took to examine and to provide some explanation as to why each horse would be appropriate for your own horse operations needs, as well as risk assessment. All horses do better if they don't have to be changed out with owner/operators on a frequent basis, due to their not being a suitable fit in the end. Horses require a fit where they can be adequately taken care of financially and emotionally, they are not stuffed toys that can be put on a shelf to admire. They are living, breathing, beings, social creatures that need companionship in all of its forms. OHHH, did I YEARN to be there in person to meet all of these beautiful equines, I certainly hope that they were all able to find a home where they could be happy and healthy and appreciated all around.

If I were a zillionaire I would buy them all. I hope all those precious horses find caring forever homes. Each one of them deserves all the TLC they can get. 😢❤

Out of all the auctions I have seen so far, this one by far has the nicest looking horses! That blue eye paint in the beginning would have come home with me! He was also a medicine hat!

Wow that horse with the blue eyes was stunning

When you walk by I can see from 65 years of fascination with horse flesh. The horses are curious interested in you too. . I agree the gunmetal blue has the goods. When I was a child we had a swayback Blue Mare and a dozen blue tic hounds. Often four of us kids would ride her together. She never seemed to notice ...if we didn't keep her going she'd just stand and graze on what ever she could reach. She seemed to be obvious we were even there. She only became unruly when we turned her head home. All you could do was to hang on just hang on! When we got close to the coral she'd try to brush you off on the fence or the wall of the barn. Seemed to be saying I'm off the clock get off!

I recognized the fairgrounds as soon as you started filming. I was in a 4H club from a town over and rode there too. So crazy, had no idea you were from the area! Not to mention I also bought a horse from Skeeter lol.

17:55 - I knew a paint marked like that - brown spots on his white socks - and they called him 'Hershey's Kisses' - 'cos that's exactly what they looked like ! :)
