Gu Ailing's performance is absolutely incredible, especially the last jump, not only to defeat the opponent, but also to challenge herself and break her own limits. Isn't this the true meaning of sports? Congrats to Gu🥇🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳

Never practiced, never tried, not even on trampoline, just showed up on the biggest stage and imagined it it in her head at the spur of the moment ... Nah, it doesn't have any true meaning for we, the average layman. Fun to watch and admire for sure

One of the most memorable moments of the Beijing Olympics is Eileen’s 3rd big air jump. What a talented athlete and a joy to watch, always giving it her 100% and coming through under immense pressure. Truly inspirational!

Well, I'm sorry that I couldn't see such a wonderful game during the game because I was busy with my study. Everyone who has seen xgames knows that tess has the ability to make 1620, so when I saw her 1620, my mood did not fluctuated much. But when I saw eileen jumping out of 1620 in the third jump, I was stunned. Because in the last jump, I thought she would do a more confident move. You know, she was almost very close to the silver medal at that time. This is the spirit of extreme sports! This is beyond the game!I am eileen's fans now!!!

Eileen's rituals before she makes a run reminds me of Robocop. She's unique. Making it looks easy while having fun.

How high can Eileen Gu Go? From two time Olympic Gold Medalist to Nobel Laurette? 36th in Stanford University? She once wrote, “‘Fear’ is really an umbrella term for three distinct sensations: excitement, uncertainty, and pressure. I’ve learned that the nuanced indicators of each of these feelings can be instrumental to success when recognized and positively leveraged, and harbingers of injury when ignored.” She is making beautiful music while performing freestyle skiing in the Winter Olympics. In the big air final, she is composing music with grace, rhythm, twist, spin and gliding through her 1st ever double cork 1620 is her final run and thus captured this olympic event first gold medal. In Slope Style final of three run. She was in 6th place after 2nd run; however, she performed perfectly and leverage her fear into winning a Silver Medal. Just .3 point shy of a Gold Medal. Wow, what a clutch performance. In the Half Pipe, she was 1st through qualification and Finals. And placed pressure and how competition. And overall, she cruise to Gold Medal. On that night, snow princess becomes a snow QUEEN. She encourage young people to find your passion and are never too young to make a difference in this world and make a the world a better place. Really enjoyed watching you over come fears and become the two time Olympic champion and what an awesome feat. Congratulation! Best Luck to Eileen in Stanford.

What is the meaning of A or B at the end or the score number?

Competitors are scored in the finals on their 2 best runs---however, each run has to be for different tricks. The A & B notes that the 2 runs scored were for different tricks.

A and B indicate the two opposite spin directions (clockwise or counterclockwise). You’ll find that spinning in one direction is more natural to do than the other, then this direction will be the A choice for you, while the least natural direction becomes B.
